The OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry.
This course is designed for construction, building development, repairs/alterations and other fields. Construction industry workers with supervisory, oversight, and safety responsibilities can’t afford to be caught off-guard—especially when more lives are at stake. That’s why we’ve built our comprehensive course for safety directors, safety specialists, construction foremen, engineers, project managers, safety specialists, field supervisors and more. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Programs as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
Students take this course to meet:
- Employer Requirement
- State Requirement
- Nevada (effective January 1, 2010)
- Missouri (effective August 28, 2009)
- New York (effective July 1, 2008)
- Connecticut (requirement specific to certain kinds of job sites)
Construction workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on specific hazards of the job.
Upon completion of the course, you will get your Department of Labor card in the mail within 6-8 weeks.
The OSHA Outreach Training course and the end of course survey must both be completed within six (6) months of beginning the course or a DOL Wallet Card will not be issued!
Note: The 30 Hour Construction Outreach course is NOT equivalent to the OSHA 510 or 511 courses and will not meet the course prerequisites to take the OSHA 500 or 501 courses.
