Fall Protection Training (4 hour)

Course Introduction

When work is performed on elevated surfaces or during construction activities, protection against falls must be considered. Employers are required to provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. Our world class fall protection training provides each student with the ability to recognize the hazards of falling and then select solutions to minimize these hazards.

Course Details

This interactive session provides participants with an understanding of both conventional and non-conventional fall protection and is customizable based on the types of fall protection you use in your operations.

For example…If you are in the residential construction industry we can focus on solutions specific to that industry. On the other hand if you are in a manufacturing situation where personal fall arrest is needed we can focus on that specific operation.

  • Scope of fall hazards in construction
  • Relevant OSHA regulations
  • Hierarchy of fall protection
  • Requirements for and uses of conventional fall protection including covers, rails, and personal fall arrest devices
  • Requirements for and uses of unconventional fall protection including Warning lines, CAZ, safety monitors, written plans, etc.
