Course Introduction

As a continuation of our level 1 and 2 courses we offer IMSA’s Signs and Markings Level 3 course. This Senior Technician certification is the highest level of certification for sign and pavement marking personnel.

Sign and Pavement Marking Senior Technician Level 3 has no study guide and the examination will test your knowledge of the MUTCD

Safety Links is an authorized provider for the International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA).

Who Should Participate?

These certifications are recommended for those who are involved in the traffic signs and pavement marking industry. The materials and seminars are a valuable resource for people seeking training to expand their knowledge in design, installation, and maintenance of guide, regulatory, and warning signs. Placement and installation of pavement marking materials is also covered.

What are the prerequisites of this Program?

In Florida, a current Intermediate or Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certificate. (click here to learn more)

Outside of FL, IMSA Work Zone Traffic Control Safety Certification is required.

Who is IMSA?

IMSA is the oldest known association of its kind in the world and dates back to October 1896. The basic purpose of the organization was to keep its members and others in the profession, up-to-date on proper procedures of construction and maintenance of signal systems and informed on new products and equipment developments. In September 1937, the organization name was officially changed to the “International Municipal Signal Association” (I.M.S.A.).

What other courses are available through IMSA?

IMSA also offers educational and certification programs in Traffic Signals, Work Zone Traffic Control, Municipal and Interior Fire Alarm systems, and Public Safety Dispatcher. At this time we do not offer any IMSA course other than Signs and Markings.
