Being struck by a vehicle, heavy equipment and other objects is the top cause of injury and the second cause of death in construction workers.

When a vehicle has an obstructed view to the rear, OSHA requires a working back-up alarm or a spotter onsite to tell the driver when it is safe to back up. Unfortunately in this demonstration, they had no spotter and no internal traffic control plan in place.
